How do you get in the mood??
Alright Ladies - admit it.
Sometimes we need a little help getting "in the mood."
Some of us sleep in sweatpants (shame on us! not hot!!). Some of us are so distracted by work and family and busy with LIFE that we forget to want to get busy.
Rosie has admitted that she and Kelli have appointment sex. And comedian Louis CK has a HILARIOUS rant on what happens when his wife realizes that she's going to read about him in the paper if she doesn't help relieve the, uh, tension.
But good lovin' is such an important part of relationships, it can't be good to let the ultimate expression of lurve go by the wayside!
Have you figured out how to get in the mood? Do you recommend 'fakin' it til you make it'? Maybe you start thinking about it in the morning (hmmm..I'm in the shower, I'll shave my legs!). Or you go lingerie shopping. Do you light candles and take a bubble bath? Do you need anything on hand to relax and get into it? Say, birth control or Barry White?
Or better yet - does HE do something to get your engines revving??

I've tried the appointment thing, complete with smooth tunes and candles. Didn't get a 2nd shot at it as DH didn't seem excited about it. To be honest, I pretty much just fake it and figure one day maybe I really WILL make it. Hell, it keeps the peace.
I need to add something cuz this has me kinda peeved; I not only tried the candles & music, I bought "101 Nights of Great Sex" plus sexy lingerie, even massage oils. Seems he'd rather watch tv in bed than watch me. So ... when he's out of town, I "fly solo". At least it releaves MY tension. Sure as hell makes me sad though when I think of how much fun and romance we had when we started 5 yrs ago.
