Get your Good Karma here!
A friend of mine just sent me this email, which has been circulating the Internet for YEARS. But since The Secret is all the rage...and I just love this woo woo stuff, I thought I'd share it with you:
I N S T R U C T I O N S F O R L I F E
1. Take into account that great love and great achievements
involve great risk.
2. When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.
3. Follow the three R’s:
* Respect for self,
* Respect for others and
* Responsibility for all your actions.
4. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a
wonderful stroke of luck.
5. Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.
6. Don’t let a little dispute injure a great relationship.
7. When you realize you’ve made a mistake, take immediate
steps to correct it.
8. Spend some time alone every day.
9. Open your arms to change, but don’t let go of your values.
10. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
11. Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and
think back, you’ll be able to enjoy it a second time.
12. A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for
your life.
13. In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the
current situation. Don’t bring up the past.
14. Share your knowledge. It is a way to achieve immortality.
15. Be gentle with the earth.
16. Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before.
17. Remember that the best relationship is one in which your
love for each other exceeds your need for each other.
18. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order
to get it.
19. Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.
What do you think? To woo-woo for you?
Cheers, Lara

I acted on my feelings and thinking it was the best things to do at the time, moved all my stuff into storage 4 months ago. It may have been the best financial and most stabilizing move at the time, but now I miss my stuff... -all my stuff that means so much to me and nothing to noone else. Stuff that makes me feel good... -b/c it's mine, I don't know. I live with my boyfriend who wants nothing but the best for me, but he doesn't see the big deal about "my stuff". I love him and hope we will get married and have kids someday, but right now I just want my stuff and my time and myself. Afterall, whatever I want for the future has nothing to do with what I have right now. Without my stuff I feel like I'm packed away in storage somewhere and $84/month keeps me on life support.
Any advice for that???
I live every day aware of my actions and the implications. I enjoyed the reminder. Maybe more men should be reminded of this?
LyzaJ78...My boyfriend said that seeing all my stuff around was like living in a Lara Museum, which was not a compliment. We had just moved in together and he seemed really angry about it! I explained to my guy how much comfort I get from my stuff, irrational as it may sound. Also - I explained how we could go out to dinner at least once a month on the $ a storage locker would cost. I wound up throwing a lot of stuff out, but kept most of it. I arranged the stuff in an inconspicuous way. Lots of use of under-bed storage, the backs of closets, behind the couch. How much stuff do you have??
