Coffee Anyone?

Tomorrow is free coffee day at Dunkin' Donuts. They set up shop in Copley Square (downtown Boston) today and had some rap contest. I missed the festivities. But they also had ICE SCULPTURES - and I didn't miss those!!!

I love ice sculptures!! And two huge cups of coffee? Yum! I can just imagine the marketing folks a couple of months ago..."Hmm...the last day of Winter, mid-March....it will be warm! We can promote our iced coffee drinks...yeah, yeah, that's it! It will be warm by then, spring starts the next day, we'll sell gallons of the stuff!!"

Not quite. It's a balmy 43 degrees here today (34 if you count the wind chill)! Not quite iced coffee weather yet, coffee people.

Cheers, Lara

PS I couldn't look at the corned beef & cabbage pictures any more. Happy first day of Spring tomorrow!!

I would love to have the iced coffee, however, I would rather have a really really nice warm spring thank you!

B - I'm pretty sure it's only iced coffee, but I'm not positive. I hope it's (a) warm where you live (b) there's a Dunkin Donuts nearby and (c) you like iced coffee! - Lara

It's warm where I live (Jacksonville, Florida) and there is a close DD and I'm going to get a coffee--iced or hot, I don't care :)

Happy Spring Everyone!

When we were in Hawaii they had iced coffee at McDonalds. I didn't have any, and now I'm regretting it. I hope that it comes to Canada, soon!

ps. hope it warms up for ya!

OMG! you made me remember MY Boston! I grew up in Revere, and have in in SC for 7 years now, but cannot get over Eastie... The nearest DD is like 20-30 minutes away from me. Please enjoy!

Iced coffee at D&D was clutch yesterday. The line at my D&D was quite long and the guy behind me was pretty annoyed they were giving free coffee. He actually made a comment that they should have a separate line for the "regulars" and then decided he was too good to wait in line. the funniest thing about the whole situation was that I was actually the only person who ordered the free iced coffee in front of him.
