Is a burrito a sandwich??

What's with Massachusetts and sandwiches? First the fluffenutter, now this.

burrito.jpg

Seems a sandwich shop had a lease that promised no other sandwich shops would open nearby. When a Mexican restaurant opened, the sandwich shop sued the landlord, claiming burritos are sandwiches. They lost. So, according to the long arm of the law in Massachusetts, a burrito is not a sandwich. But hello, they took it to court?? And had EXPERTS on SANDWICHES testify. What a waste of time.

When will the sandwich maddness end in Massachusetts?? Next up: Is Peanut Butter and Jelly really such a good idea??

What do you think -- Are lobster rolls sandwiches? Hot dogs? Calzones? HAMBURGERS???

Cheers, Lara

This is too funny!

What if they were peanut butter and jelly burritos? I wonder if that would fly?
