you have definitely covered it all...well almost...
I am a little concerned about her flowing black dress getting caught in the door of her SUV while carpooling the kids to practices and games...

and I wonder if she is able to whip up "healthy and nutritious meals" for her family while "looking so good on the go"...I am thinking her time spent on primping cuts into meal preparation time. I suspect pizza pops and/or chef-boy-r-dee ravioli a few nights a week..

AND she didn't worry about keeping her house too clean. I like that.

Plus, if she declares, "There will be no organized kids' snacks!" no one will argue with her. Definite bonus.

Soccer moms..your humor is encouraging!! I'm in need of some soccer mom insight...may I ask? My wonderfully smart, cute fifth grade daughter absolutely adores her soccer teammates. They all go to the same school and they've all been playing on the same team for 4 years. They are in travelling soccer now and they play year-round (indoors and outdoors). They often go for numerous games undefeated and they work well together. However, my daughter is the weakest player and she's feeling it now with much less playing time and lots of "talks" from the coaches. She has certainly improved and she is extremely fast, but..... One mother (almost punched her) actually berrated her from the sidelines the other game. Creep. Anyway, next year she can't wait to "keep on playing soccer" ...am I setting her up? I sooo appreciate any feedback you have.

I can't speak for a soccer mom, but being a JO volleyball kid (which sounds similar, at least)...as long as your daughter 'can't wait to keep on playing soccer' that you're fine! as long as she's having fun, even if she's not playing as much as everyone else (I warmed the bench most of my sophomore year of high school basketball, but it was still the best season I remember).

and you can always sic Morticia on the crazy parents.
