What's your favorite t-shirt slogan?

T-shirts with stuff written on them have been back for a while. They were "out" for a solid decade, but now I think they're back - the super-cool kids have been wearing them for years now. I used to have a ton of t's with all kinds of stuff written on them, especially in college. Freshman year, my two best friends and I bought matching shirts:

No money.
No car.
No boyfriend.

I don't know why, but we thought it was hysterical at the time.

I've long since thrown out most of my "slogan" t-shirts. Anything with logos/words/writing on it was ditched many years back, and I turned into a words-on-t-shirt hater. You just cannot be classy AND have something written on your t-shirt at the same time!

HOWEVER - this past weekend I saw a guy riding a bike around Harvard and MIT in Cambridge. He was wearing a maroon t-shirt with white letters that said:

math.jpg

I howled. I might break my no-writing-on-t-shirts rule for this one. It's certainly the best i've seen all summer. It was just the words (no actual math), large enough to read from far away. This guy must be having a blast watching idiots like me read the shirt. First we read it...we don't get it for a second, then finally the light bulb goes off! Ha ha ha !

What's the best thing you've seen written on a t-shirt??

Cheers, Lara

this morning, i saw these homeless guys swigging vodka and staggering around prospect park. one of them wore a very new and clean looking t-shirt that said "HARVARD" and below it, in smaller letters, "Now that I've got your attention...I went to Radcliffe."

(insert joke about radcliffe's admission standards here.)

My favorite one says "Never Underestimate the Power of Stupid People in Large Groups." I've been looking for it for a few years. My other favorite is the "I See Dumb People" shirt, but I would never actually wear that in public.

I own a t-shirt that says "I bring nothing to the table". Purchased just after my divorce. It cracks me up, but you are right a t-shirt with writing is just not classy.

The best shirt I ever saw wasone that had the seams on the outside of the shirt and the words "I am with Stupid" with an upwards arrow written on the inside of the shirt. I had to take a double and a third take to make sure the guy was not really wearing it inside out, and sure enough the shirt tag was on the inside. Like I always say... you have to be able to laugh at yourslef, and obviously this guy could do just that. I giggled for about 10 minutes on the creativity of making a shirt to look like you were too stupdi to put it on right side out.

My favorite is one I want to buy my teenage son: "You have the right to remain silent; everything you say will be misquoted and used against you.". On my son's first day of high school, he wore one that said: "My mommy says I'm special." I think it set the tone for his high-school years!
