Men: A Fashion DON'T

I know there aren't many guys trolling around iVillage. But we've got a tip for you:

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD - NO CAFTANS!

I know the chicks are jumping on the caftan bandwagon. And that's not right either. (Think Mrs. Roper meets an 80 year old Miami socialite hostess). They are just glorified housecoats. No?

And men might look good in skirts to me.

And in nightshirts. And I get that Lawrence of Arabia could make a plain ol' sheet hot.

But NO CAFTANS guys.
